Part 2: Building skills (Five core + Four specialised modules)
Building skills in handling operational issues and Islamic financial
transactions, such as structuring corporate financing and issuing
Islamic securities, with the option to specialise in specific areas of
Islamic banking and/or takaful.

Part 3: Building competency and experience
Building competency and experience through articleship which is an
attachment program. Activities are designed to provide candidates with
practical experience in the Islamic finance industry.

Generally
the minimum academic requirement for entry into the CIFP programme is a
bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent professional qualification from a
recognised institution. However, those with a diploma from a recognised
institution will also be considered if they have at least five years
working experience in a relevant field.

In
addition, as the CIFP coursework and examinations are conducted in
English, candidates should ensure that they are proficient in English
in order to undertake the programme.

Applications are considered based on academic merits and potential, as well as relevant professional experience.

Application
for admission into the CIFP programme may be made at any time during
the year. There is no closing date for submission of application.
However, the INCEIF academic terms commence in June and December each
year. Examinations are normally held at the end of each term in October
and April respectively.

Application
for admission will only be processed upon receiving the completed
information. INCEIF will notify applicant of the decision on their
application for admission within 14 calendar days from the day of
receiving the complete document.

Applicants whose applications are rejected are not allowed to appeal,
but may submit a new application at a later date, providing new
material information.
                                    

Approved
applicants are given 30 calendar days from the date of the Letter of
Offer to remit the appropriate fees to be registered as candidates for
the CIFP programme.

Applicants who are unable to meet the payment due date, are to notify
the INCEIF Admissions Office of the delay in payment, giving an
acceptable reason, before the payment due date. In the event that
candidates are unable to submit the full payment, or request for fee
deferment within the stipulated time frame, the offer for registration
will be automatically nullified.
                                    

Upon successful registration, candidates will receive the following materials via post :

• Candidates may pay fees by bankers cheque payable to INCEIF upon
            offer for registration.
• All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
